My friend just got notified from her work that she’s going to be laid off this afternoon. She’s not upset or anything because she can already see it coming. Her company has been struggling with bankruptcy for a very long time now so she was kinda prepared for it.
Most of the people who got laid off will go on looking for another job but I think this is the perfect time to start working on your own online business. Think about it… if you go and work for another company then do you think that you could sleep well at night knowing that at any time you can get laid off again?
If you don’t have any savings then it’s advisable to go look for another job but start working on affiliate marketing as a side business. In my opinion, starting your own business whether offline or online is the most surefire way to achieving financial freedom. Our minds have been conditioned that we should all finish our studies (which is not bad) and start working for a company and hopefully earn enough for our retirement.
Where’s the part that tells you to become independent and work for yourself? Did you know that in some countries (Japan for example) the kids are already being taught on how to make an income for themselves?
With the power of the Internet, there’s virtually no excuse that you cannot start on your online business. Many people say that it’s hard but were you able to walk right away when you’re a baby? Others say that they don’t have any money… I promote products and make money online by writing articles and that doesn’t cost me any money. Don’t have enough time to make it work? You can work on this business as a part time only. Can you honestly not invest 1-2 hours of your time every single day?
If you still have more excuses on your sleeves then Internet marketing is probably not the right thing for you to get into.
